Amid these pressures, the Construction League report \u2013 New Zealand 2025 edition recognises the builders that led project commencements across the country in 2024.&nbsp;<br><br>Now in its third year, the New Zealand Construction League\u2014produced by <strong>BCI Central, powered by Hubexo<\/strong>\u2014ranks the top 50 construction firms by the total value of new projects that commenced in 2024.&nbsp;<br><br>Based on live construction data tracked by BCI across thousands of projects, the report captures activity across sectors including commercial, community, industrial, legal and military, and multi-residential. &nbsp;<br><br>The top 10 builders accounted for 256 projects totalling over $5 billion NZD, underlining their dominant role in shaping the national development pipeline.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Hawkins<\/strong> leads the League with more than $1.2 billion NZD in construction commencements across 31 projects, reflecting its ability to secure and deliver complex builds across sectors.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Naylor Love<\/strong>, ranked second, recorded the highest number of project commencements (94) totalling $828.9 million NZD, reinforcing its extensive national footprint. <strong>LT McGuinness<\/strong> retained third position, maintaining a steady trajectory followed closely by <strong>Southbase Construction<\/strong>, <strong>Summerset <\/strong>and <strong>Watts &amp; Hughes.<\/strong><br><br>Also breaking into the top 10 this year are <strong>Kalmar<\/strong>, <strong>Apollo Projects<\/strong>, and <strong>Fletcher Living<\/strong>, all contributing to critical development across community, residential and industrial, developments. Notably, <strong>Built<\/strong> entered the League in ninth place, with just two projects totalling $251 million\u2014highlighting the growing emphasis on high-value builds.&nbsp;<br><br><em>\u201cDespite the headwinds, the data shows continued commitment to construction and community infrastructure,\u201d<\/em> said Ashleigh Pattison, Director of Project Content APAC at Hubexo. <em>\u201cThese builders are helping set the pace for what\u2019s to come in 2025\u2014demonstrating capacity, adaptability, and leadership.\u201d&nbsp;<\/em><br><br>Together, the top 50 builders commenced 868 projects in 2024, with a combined value of $8.6 billion NZD.&nbsp;<br><br>Ashleigh Porter, President, APAC at Hubexo, added: <em>\u201cThe 2025 League highlights an industry rising to meet adversity with determination and expertise.
