The fifth edition of Hubexo<\/a>\u2019s<\/strong> Construction League<\/a> reveals the velocity of Australia\u2019s leading builders, ranking the top 50 firms by the total value of projects that commenced construction during 2025. Spanning the commercial, community, industrial, legal and military, and multi-residential sectors, our report provides a breakdown of activity, from total number of project commencements to average and total project values.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this year\u2019s top 50 builders commenced 722 projects, comparable to last year\u2019s numbers, the total value of those starts soared 32% to $43.9 billion. This trend underscores a market where builders are prioritising large-scale and high-quality development, reflecting strong underlying demand. The top 10 firms saw $22.9 billion in new starts, despite breaking ground on 15% fewer projects year-on-year. The ambition of each build is on the rise.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kapitol Group\u2019s ability to deliver high-tech projects has seen them not only join the top 10 for the first time but also claim the number one spot this year. The Melbourne-based builder commenced a total of 17 high-value projects in 2025, exceeding $3.5 billion in combined value.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
